Miguel Angel Navas, Panamanian reggae singer, who lifts up his voice and his lyrics of love, have ever achieved with romanticism and realism that predominates in each of his subjects, the heart of his listeners.
The artist shows his interest in music since very young, started singing in his neighborhood and his school, and tried his luck in singing contests. After his 10 years, Michelangelo began to write the lyrics of their songs in two ways, but it is at 14 when changing the romantic style, which is to be recognized today. At age 16, is part of a group called "La tribu" with which he manages to make one of his first public appearance at presentation in the International Youth Festival (Festival Internacional de la Juventud), held at the former bases of Howard.
With this group recorded some tracks in an "underground", but spends less than a year, when it disintegrates and Michelangelo, his luck begins to test independently.
Then, Miguel Angel auditioned for the CD "Sin Censura Vol.3", (which by the way did not want new artists). Yet Michelangelo insisted, and after waiting for over 5 hours, decide to record it after hearing to present the material to Mr. Poll Anria, executive producer for the project who gives it the opportunity and their song called Why? appears on the disc.
Already having the doors open, recorded for other musical productions like "Ultimatum 2", "La vaina" and "The Rosca Crew" where his song "Sin tu amor" did start listening to the international level. Also participates in other productions like "La Pasion","La Alianza", "Revelacion," "Las Propias Plus," "La Perrera 1 and 2" and "La tentacion".
Thus, following the determination, effort, work and the success of his songs, the music company Music Event Records, by Mr. Geovany Barahona, focuses on the artist and since last June 2007, integrating it into their team.
From now on, new songs made hits by the artist as: "Tu volveras", "Olvidame Tu," "Una Noche Mas," "Solo Una Noche", "No te imagino" a duet with Catherine, among others.
