Miami, FL, February 3, 2010.– (F & F Media Corp.) Sunday evening, Luis Enrique shined like never before. He soared to new heights after receiving a Grammy at the fifty-second annual ceremony for the coveted awards, joining the ranks of the best of the best in the music industry.
   
In what is undoubtedly the most important night in music, ‘The Salsa Prince’ received the award for “Best Latin Tropical Album”.
 
The album that earned him that honor was “Ciclos”, produced by the highly acclaimed Sergio George, for the Top Stop Music label. The first single from the release, “Yo No Sé Mañana”, has captivated audiences throughout the United States, Latin America and Europe, breaking records with more than 11 consecutive weeks in the #1 position of Billboard’s hot Latin tracks in the “Tropical” category.
 
"This is the proof that dreams do come true. I am very grateful to the music industry and to the fans for their incomparable support”, an ecstatic Luis Enrique expressed with delight. He also dedicated the award to his homeland, Nicaragua, and to “all those people, who like me, are still following their dreams”.
 
This honor is added to the recent string of distinctions and accolades garnered by the salsa performer after his return to the music industry, which include four nominations to “Premio Lo Nuestro”, and two Latin GRAMMY awards.

Concluding the awards ceremony, the singer announced that he would be returning to Miami to continue his promotional tour, which is scheduled to take him to Central and South America as well as throughout the major cities in the United States.
